Water is life’s matter and matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water!
Why Water?
Pakistan’s water crisis is a known reality that is becoming more adverse due to climate change. Millions don’t have access to clean drinking water, while billions require basic sanitation facilities. Contaminated water intake has serious impacts, including being one of the main causes of death of children under the age of 5.
The difference between the poor and rich is evident from the water scarcity situation in the country where we watch underprivileged communities living mostly in the area where access to water is very hard. This shortage is leading to preventable catastrophes. This is where The PEACE Trust comes into the scene, aiming to provide water resources to the most needy.
Our Impact
Water Tube Wells Constructed: 2
Lives Saved: 100,000+
Water Tubewells
Sindh and Tharparkar are some of the badly hit areas in Pakistan, with massive heatwaves and drought. People live in sweltering temperatures without access to drinkable water. We are on a mission to empower communities and villages with pure water without any hassles. We have successfully constructed one tube well, and many more are being processed that will benefit the affected people.
Smiling Faces
“I used to walk over 6 miles daily to get water for my family, carrying a heavy pot on my shoulders. The journey was long and exhausting, but it was our only option for survival. The kindness of strangers who have helped us is nothing short of a miracle, and we are grateful for their generosity. Their support has brought us hope and changed our lives in ways we never imagined.” A word from a mother!
